Eyestrings mp3 Clips

Consumption

2005

The second release by Eyestrings has received much critical praise, especially from within the progressive rock community. Featuring long-form compositions and melodies that alternately flow delicately and rock intensely, the album is an emotional roller-coaster, culminating in the 20-minute Lifelines.

“Even though this review, and undoubtedly others, mentions the darker style of Eyestrings music, the album is ultimately rather uplifting and a joy to listen to.” (9 out of 10)

Burdened Hands

2004

The first release by Eyestrings is an eclectic array of rock styles, from progressive (Empty Box) to poppy (Just a Body). The songs vary in theme and approach, from frighteningly aggressive (Time Will Tell) to lightheartedly humorous (Slackjaw). The debut album is a fine representation of the band’s range.

“There is enough complexity in the music to keep you coming back for more. There are catchy melodies plastered in all the cavernous regions of the music.”
