Shipping to Mexico:
Shipping to Mexico is $7.95 for 1 CD (or DVD), $6.00 for the 2nd CD, $3.50 each for the 3rd and 4th CDs, $2.00 each for the next 9 CDs, and $1.00 each additional. Some heavy, multi-disc sets count as more than one CD for shipping.
Shipping to Mexico is via First-Class Mail International (airmail) for orders of 1 CD, via Priority Mail International for larger orders, and via Express Mail for orders of 12-13 CDs or more, depending on the exact weight. Our postal insurer will not insure mail to Mexico, and the U.S. Postal Service will only insure Express Mail (though there is a limited amount of insurance built into Priority Mail). So we are forced to use more reliable classes of mail, thus the shipping rates are higher.
Invoices are emailed. We do not include any invoice or receipt in or on the parcel.
If you would like your CDs shipped without jewel boxes (the plastic cases), we can charge less for shipping. Please indicate this in the message area of the shopping cart, where it says: Enter any additional information or requests. Minimum order for this is 3 CDs. We will usually subtract approximately $1.50 per CD from the shipping charge shown in the shopping cart, depending on the size of the order. We must manually calculate the new shipping charge for each such order because not all CDs come packaged in jewel boxes. If you specify shipping without cases and pay via PayPal, you will initially pay the full shipping charge but we will make a partial refund to your PayPal account.
Your address must match the billing address for your credit card. The order form contains fields for a separate delivery address. For fraud prevention, first-time customers paying with a credit card must have the order shipped to the credit card billing address. If you would like your first order shipped to an address that is different than the credit card’s billing address, you will need to call the bank that issued your credit card and have your delivery address listed as an alternate address in that bank’s memo field. This will only add an extra shipping address to your credit card file. It will not change your billing address. You should also provide the issuing bank’s toll-free phone number to us in the message text-area at checkout or in an . (This phone number is on the back of every credit card.) We will then process your order once we have confirmation from the issuing bank that your alternate shipping address has been added to your credit card file.
First-time customers ordering more than $100 may be asked to mail a photocopy or email a scan of their credit card statement, as merchants cannot verify the billing address of Mexican cards other than American Express. We need a valid email address before we can ship your order.
Once submitted, orders are final. Please do not attempt to modify an order after it has been submitted.
Returns are accepted for defective merchandise only. A replacement will be sent - no substitutions. If you do receive a defective CD or DVD, please first for instructions. ALL RETURNS MUST BE AUTHORIZED IN ADVANCE.
It happens very infrequently, but if we send you the wrong item, we do need the wrong item returned. Upon receipt, we will ship the correct item. We will credit you for the cost of return postage.
Information you supply will not be shared with any other companies. Cookies are used only to update the Cart Contents display - no information is collected.
Note that everything on the website is in stock unless it explicitly says otherwise. We manually remove titles from the site after the last copy is sold. The only time you will order an item and find that it is out-of-stock is when we are down to one copy and two orders for it come in the same day. We charge you only for what is in stock and do not backorder items.
Payment Methods:
Gift Card Users: Before placing an order with a Visa, MasterCard, or American Express gift card, you must call or go online to inform the credit card company that you wish to activate your card for online purchasing. The toll-free number or web address is on the back of your gift card. If you place an order without activating your gift card and registering your address, your order cannot be processed due to address verification failure, and funds may be temporarily held up to four business days.
This is a real-time payment option in the shopping cart. You will be transferred to PayPal to complete the payment. If an item is out-of-stock and we must adjust the invoice total, we will make a partial refund through PayPal.Do not use PayPal to change delivery address, send messages, or otherwise modify your order. It is to make payment only. The information entered in the Kinesis shopping cart is the only information used.
Ordering:
Click on the “Add to Cart” icon (example shown on left) next to an item to add it to your shopping cart. This will then display the contents of your cart and order total so far. To order more than one copy of an item, change the quantity shown in the cart and click the RECALCULATE button. If you add the same title to your cart more than once, we will ignore the redundant entries. You can checkout any time your cart contents are displayed. To display the contents of your cart without adding an item, click on View Cart in the upper right of the store pages. (The browser window needs to be at least 800 pixels wide to see it. Maximize your browser window if necessary.) Checkout is via a secure server to protect your credit card information. Credit card information is encrypted while on the server and is removed promptly.
TROUBLESHOOTING: If the shopping cart appears not to be working, instead of clicking on an Add to Cart icon as you normally would, Shift-Click or Ctrl-Click it. (Hold Shift or Ctrl key while clicking.) This forces the shopping cart to open in a new browser window or tab. Normally the shopping cart loads in the Kinesis frameset with the table of contents on the left and header at the top, but this occasionally causes problems for some browser configurations, probably related to an overly aggressive security setting.
